Upper Elementary--
Getting our brains ready for the day with a little dancing before class begins.

The Primary Class has been researching nocturnal animals. As a way to share their findings, they created nonfiction books. They got the chance to share these with each other AND with anyone around the school that would listen. If you want to know about raccoons or badgers, make sure to find one of the Primary kids. Also, don't forget to check out our Super Moguls this week!

There will be NO Football practice today.

The week of October 28 is Red Ribbon Week! Here are all the dress up days for the week. We look forward to celebrating being drug free with all of our learners!

Congrats to the senior class for winning the spirit stick this homecoming!! They earned the most points throughout the week by participation in dress up days, hallway decorations, float decorations and class challenges. Way to go seniors!! #mogulpride #schoolspirit

The Primary Class had a great Homecoming Week. We enjoyed the parade and cheering for the Moguls. We liked listening to and dancing to the pep band. We were very excited to see our friends from the Edgemont Volunteer Fire Department and the Edgemont Ambulance crew in the parade, too.
Don't forget to check out our Super Learner this week!

Part of the Primary Class was treated to a special event today! Our very own, Sean Covel, through a partnership with the Statewide Family Engagement Center and the illustrator, Jez, gifted us with a new book. The book is called " Who is the Super Ultra Mega Special Super Special Guest?" We enjoyed a read aloud of the book and then, finally, found out who the special guest was. We even found the hidden Mogul on some of the pages!

Uppers are working on technology skills.

🌎🎨 Edgemont School Celebrates Cultures! 🎨🌎
Our students have been busy learning and celebrating diverse cultures this month!
🇪🇸 Our Spanish students honored Hispanic Heritage Month by creating vibrant artwork, exploring lively music, and discussing the incredible contributions of Hispanic Americans. ¡Qué impresionante!
🪶 Meanwhile, our Junior Class commemorated Native American Day by visiting the Crazy Horse Memorial. They had the amazing opportunity to listen to Native American advocates, experience powerful drum performances, and witness mesmerizing hoop dancing!
At Edgemont, we believe in celebrating the richness of all cultures, fostering understanding, and building a more inclusive community. 🌟 #CulturalCelebration #HispanicHeritageMonth #NativeAmericanDay #EdgemontSchool #DiversityMatters #GlobalLearners #FullSteamAhead #MightyMoguls #LayingTheTracks
