High school CTE is off to a great start for the year with beginning new projects and learning some new skills. I'm so sorry about the repeated cancellations of our volleyball game with Little Wound! We are working to reschedule our game to a different date than Sept. 10!
The Lady Moguls are on their way to play in the Gregory Tournament tomorrow.
But you can come out tonight to the Cody E. Barker Memorial Field to watch the high school boys show off their football skills for a 7:30 practice under the lights.
Dragons are too Seldom Puppet Theatre Productions is coming to Edgemont School sponsored by the Edgemont YMCA! "In the center of things" is a puppet adventure dealing with bullying prevention. It will be presented for FREE at the Edgemont School on Friday, September 6th at 1:00pm. The show is open to all children and their families followed by a puppet workshop open to children K-5, limited to 30. Tomorrow, HS Volleyball has a Tournament in Custer at 9am. The bus will be leaving at 7:30am, students need to be at the school no later than 7am.
There will be NO school on Monday/ Labor Day.
If you haven't already, please send in student packet forms asap.
Tuesday 9/03 lunch will be Chicken Quesadilla, Apple Salad, Refried beans, and Fruit. We will have an updated menu on our website by 9/04.

The Lady Moguls are getting ready for Saturday's tournament while enjoying an air-conditioned gym! They play at 9am at the Custer Elementary gym.
When Mother Nature decides to rain at recess time, we get indoor choices. Today was building with Legos, creating with paper, or a dance party.
Tomorrows lunch will be hot dogs instead of popcorn chicken. The side dishes will remain the same. Due to unforeseen circumstances the posted menu for September breakfast and also lunch will be changing. https://www.edgemont.k12.sd.us/dining will be updated every week as we transition. Sorry for any confusion and thank you for your patience and understanding.
Just an FYI, tomorrow's lunch is going to be Turkey and Cheese Sub sandwich on a whole grain bun served with mashed potatoes and canned fruit choice. Thursday we will have Taco salad & tortilla chips served with refried beans, apple salad, cinnamon puff, and canned fruit choice.
