The Primary Class has been studying National Parks. Today, the groups shared their information with each other today.
We invite you to attend Edgemont School Annual Fine Arts Fair on Monday, April 14th from 5pm-7pm. Students have been hard at work all year creating artwork inspired by the Elements of Art and Design! Students who have participated in art class this year will have their hard work and creativity showcased! Visitors can walk around the fair to see art from all grade levels. You can also listen to performances put on by the High School Band and Choir students or look at the Senior Project Displays. Art projects will be available for pick up after school on Tuesday, April 15th or sent home with the students at the end of the week. We hope to see you in attendance!
The National Honor Society Induction and High School Pop Concert is tonight at 7pm in the school gym.
And in case you haven't already heard, the track meet that had been scheduled for this Thursday in Hot Springs has been canceled. We will let you know when and if it is rescheduled.
The JH track meet that had been scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled due to the weather. It has been rescheduled for Monday.
The HS track meet for Tuesday 4/8 has been canceled as well. We will let everyone know when it will be rescheduled as we get that information.

Just a reminder, the Middle School Track team will be leaving for Newcastle tomorrow morning! Bus leaves at 7, so please be here by 6:45! See you then!
Hello! We are approaching the time of year when our learners are going to be participating in the state tests and showing us how much they have learned over the past year. Please encourage your students to do their best on those tests and support them in being prepared for those tests.
Some things we as families can do to support our learners to be successful on those tests are making sure they get plenty of rest, have a proper breakfast, and are drinking plenty of water. Our school does have a breakfast program, and we encourage all students to take advantage of that from 7:30-7:50 every morning.
Our high school students will be testing the week of April 7-10. Our elementary and middle school students will be testing the week of April 14-17. Please make sure your students are at school that week, ready to show off all they know!
This Thursday, 3/27 MS and HS Track will be going to Newcastle for their first track meet. The bus will be leaving at 7am. Please have students at the school no later than 6:45am. Good luck Moguls!
Friendly reminder to MS track parents. There will be a quick parent meeting after practice on Tuesday, March 25th after practice at 5:30. Our first performance of Straight from the Horse's Mouth was Thurs. afternoon's mattinee for the elementary students. Join us for our public performances Fri and Sat. at 7.
One of the awesome additions to the CTE program this year is our new laser engraver! Students have been hard at work learning how to use the software and the machine to complete projects. A few so far have been a new main office sign, name plates for all staff, and many others!
We are hiring!
Our school is looking for a kitchen manager. Duties will include regular food preparation and sanitation required in a kitchen and requires about 28 hours per week. Salary begins at $15.00/hour but is negotiable with experience.
We also need a paraprofessional. The schedule is to be determined, but this person could be supporting students from preschool into high school. Salary starts at $15.00/hour.
