Addison Neville has combined her passion for vehicles with her senior project, focusing on her pickup truck. With extensive experience in restoring older vehicles, Addison set her sights on enhancing her pickup by crafting a custom headache rack. She embarked on learning how to weld and researched various designs that would best suit her needs. After meticulous planning and preparation, Addison selected the perfect metal, drafted her design, and mastered the basics of welding. The final product—a beautifully crafted headache rack—now adorns her pickup, showcasing her skill and dedication to automotive craftsmanship. Congratulations, Addison, on successfully completing such a challenging and rewarding project! 🚗🔧

Over two days, Jackie not only explored but made significant finds, uncovering dinosaur fossils with the guidance of her mentor, Jake Harris. Jackie's adventures at the dig site have fueled her ambition, and she plans to carry this invaluable experience into her studies in geology at the School of Mines this fall. Way to go, Jackie! 🦖🌍

For his senior project, John took on the task of surveying our school’s football field alongside Land Surveyor Dustin Ross. The goal? To create a detailed map showing the locations of all the sprinkler heads and valve boxes, making maintenance easier and more efficient. John also gained hands-on experience in surveying by shadowing Dustin for a day. Using AutoCAD, he meticulously plotted the surveyed points and produced a professional map. This practical project not only served our school community but also enriched John’s learning experience. Great job, John! Thank you Dustin Ross for supporting our learners! 🗺️🏈
