Upper Elementary "thinking flexibly"!
Tomorrow there will be health screenings for k, 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th graders. These screenings are for vision and hearing and will be done by our county health nurse. If you WOULD NOT like your child to have these screenings, you must fill out a waiver form. These forms are available in the school office.
The Primary Class is busy studying plants in science. Some are focusing on plant needs and parts, and some have learned how seed structures affect where seeds are dispersed. We got to practice being trees and dropping seeds.

This week, the high school math classes worked on getting really good at the order of operations with a scavenger hunt. They were searching for answers all over the room trying not to bump into each other!
Check out what the middle school has been up to! They have been working through an Escape Room in English, and building thinking classrooms in the Mogul Matrix!
Just a reminder that there is NO School tomorrow. Also, if your child is going to be playing in sports this school year, they will need a sports physical. Brenda VanDewater will be offering free physicals on Wednesday. Packets must be filled out prior to exam. Please call the office if you have any questions.

The Moguls ended their second week of school with a pep rally and class games. Freshmen won the class challenge! Have a great long weekend, and we'll see you again on Tuesday!

The theme this year for the Primary Class is Go for the Gold. We are looking forward to becoming Champions of Learning. We got to go to "specials" today. Specials include Music, Art, P.E., Library, and Guidance. We are so excited to have Music, Art, and P.E. everyday and Library and Guidance 2 times a week!

School has started! The Primary Class came ready to share about their summer! It was a great start to the new school year.
Due to product availability, there has been a change to our lunch Menu on Tuesday, August 19th. We will be serving Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Green Beans, along with our Fresh Fruit & Fresh Veggie Bar.
The Lady Moguls are in the Mogul Dome! Practice started today.
We would like to invite you all to our open house tomorrow from 4-6pm. Pick up packets, meet teachers, and get your class schedule. Also, there will be both a Middle School Football/ Volleyball Parent and Player meeting at 6pm. We hope to see you there!
Update on the school start dates: Preschool and Jr Kindergarten will start their first day of school on Wednesday, August 20th. Kindergarten-12th grade will start on Monday, August 18th. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.
Hey Moguls! Just a reminder that the first high school football practice will be tomorrow at 4pm. There is also a girls high school volleyball parent/ player meeting tomorrow at 6:30pm in the gym. ALL athletes must have a sports physical before they can play in a game.
