We are going to have a late start on Wednesday, December 14. Stay safe and warm!
High school students, make sure you log into Canvas and check your emails! Your reviews are posted and we really wan you to be ready for finals!

To celebrate the 12 days until Christmas we are going to feature 12 reasons it’s awesome to be a Mogul. Each day will feature a different aspect of what makes Moguls great. Today we celebrate the language learning that happens everyday in Edgemont Schools. Students k-12 have access to Spanish classes and new this year we have American Sign Language available to Middle School students. Furthermore, one of our seniors, Bridget Neville, is learning American Sign Language for her Senior Project and is working with the school of the Deaf. We are proud of Edgemont students past and present and love to see where their love of learning languages will take them!
To learn a language is to have one more window from which to look at the world.

We will not have school on Tuesday, December 13, due to the upcoming winter weather. Please stay warm and stay safe!

The Primary Class started their "travels" around the world to learn about celebrations in other countries. This week, they stopped in Israel and learned about Hanukkah. They had fun playing Dreidel!

Happy Thanksgiving! Before leaving for the week, the Primary class celebrated together with cornbread, jerky, dried apples, pumpkin cookies, dates, and popcorn.

Some Primary learners were performing surgery today. Their patients were two words that they needed to cut apart and put back together as contractions. We are happy to say that all patients made a full recovery!

The day is full of variety for the Primary Class. One moment, we might be testing our skills with a computer program. The next moment, we might be trying to work together to balance a bowling pin.

Please join us tonight in the multipurpose room for a supper and a presentation on internet safety for our kids. We will be learning how to protect our kids from the predators who lurk in the sites our kids hang out on-line, what to watch for if our kids are being taken advantage of, and what to do if our kids are being extorted.
These are not fun conversations, and I hope we never need to know the information. However, this is a case where knowledge is power if we ever do need it to protect our kids.
