The Primary Class started their "travels" around the world to learn about celebrations in other countries. This week, they stopped in Israel and learned about Hanukkah. They had fun playing Dreidel!

Happy Thanksgiving! Before leaving for the week, the Primary class celebrated together with cornbread, jerky, dried apples, pumpkin cookies, dates, and popcorn.

Some Primary learners were performing surgery today. Their patients were two words that they needed to cut apart and put back together as contractions. We are happy to say that all patients made a full recovery!

All State Chorus in Sioux Falls

Please join us tonight in the multipurpose room for a supper and a presentation on internet safety for our kids. We will be learning how to protect our kids from the predators who lurk in the sites our kids hang out on-line, what to watch for if our kids are being taken advantage of, and what to do if our kids are being extorted.
These are not fun conversations, and I hope we never need to know the information. However, this is a case where knowledge is power if we ever do need it to protect our kids.

Parenting is hard enough without having to worry about predators contacting our kids on their devices. Please come join us to learn how to protect our kids while they are online, signs to watch for if our kids are getting places they should not be, and what to do if someone misuses compromising information about our kids.
We will have a free supper at 5:30, Wednesday, October 26. Please join us!!

Monday, October 24th, is our last regular season game for 2022! Join us in the Mogul Dome for "senior night," as we take on the Thorpes of Pine Ridge--JV starts at 5:00, senior recognition, then varsity to follow. Orange and Black day--show your school spirit! Match will be streamed on NFHS only.

The county health nurse will be here on Thursday, October 20, to give flu shots to students.
If you would like your student to receive a flu shot, please fill out the permission form that came home last week. If that permission form did not make it home, or if you would like more information, please call the office.

Our Lady Moguls are ready to defend our Panhandle Conference title at home in the Mogul Dome Saturday, Oct 15th! Tournament starts at 9:00AM, with our ladies taking the court about noon (against the winner of the first game.) No passes accepted for the tournament--$6/adult, $5/student--good for all day. Thanks for your continued support of our volleyball program, and good luck to the junior high teams as well, as they compete in Hill City and Hot Springs tomorrow morning!

Thanks for cheering our Lady Moguls onto a victory on Tuesday! Thursday is Pink Night in the Mogul Dome, as we take on another tough opponent, the 18-3 Hulett Red Devils. JV first serve is scheduled for 5:00, varsity to follow. Wear Pink to show support for those battling and those who have survived their fight with cancer. Kim will be there selling $20 pink shirts if you are still needing one! All proceeds will be split between the Side Out Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
