Hello all,
We have a few updates to the activities calendar we want you to be aware of:
* There is no junior high wrestling in Custer today, December 7.
* The junior high girls basketball team will not be competing in the Panhandle Conference on Monday, December 11.
* The high school basketball games in New Underwood begin at 5:00 on Friday, December 8.

This semester, we were able include middle schoolers in the woodshop. They have been working hard on building tic tax toe boxes, which incorporates the use of tools such as the drill press, belt sander, and a multitude of hand tools. We are very pleased with their work and safety in the woodshop!

Hello Mogul Family,
We are working on updating our mission and vision statement, and on creating a "portrait of a learner."
To do this work we really need feedback from you! Please take click the link and give us your feedback on what you would like to see from our community school.
Thanks so much!

Ms. Brotherton's social studies finished up studying the Regions of the United States by doing a presentation on each region and bringing in food that is specific to each region. Students did a great job with their presentations and enjoyed eating the different food brought in. We had pizza for the Northeast, jambalaya from the Southeast, puppy chow and buckeye balls for the Midwest, Taquitos from the Southwest, and donuts from the West.

Please join us as we continue our series on student safety. Monday's presentation will focus on how drugs are marketed.
What are the current trends in drug marketing, both legal and illegal? How are both traditional media and social media used to promote drug use and sales? How are our youth targeted with this marketing? How high is the risk of our youth being manipulated through these marketing strategies, especially here in Edgemont?
Join us Monday, December 5, at 5:30 in the multi-purpose room for supper and answers to these questions.
