Spring is here and we are super excited for what that means for the Edgemont School District.
Track season has started for both high school and middle school students. It is so wonderful to see our beautiful track facility being used this spring. It has been a long time coming and we are grateful for all the community members who made it a reality.
Middle Schoolers travel to Newcastle this weekend to open their season. High School athletes head to Douglas next week for their opener. We look forward to hosting a middle school meet on May 13th.
Springtime also means that the school calendar starts to get quite full. Please make sure you check the calendar often, or download the Edgemont School District app to stay current.
In addition to the numerous fun and exciting activities that will be coming up in the next couple months, state testing is coming fast. Please check with your children on exact dates and then encourage them to get plenty of sleep and have a nutritious breakfast each day. I am confident that our students will do great, thanks to the hard work of students, teachers, and parents. When Covid stopped many schools, our students were able to keep learning because of the dedication of everyone involved.
